I just put it in neutral when I'm waiting at the light. As far as double-clutching, Farkel, do you really mean double-clutching, or are you referring to rev-matching? I rev-match every time I downshift; makes for a smoother shift. Our transmissions have synchronizers, so we don't really have to double-clutch when upshifting. It used to be necessary back when vehicles didn't have syncromesh manual trannies. Some quick info on double-clutching
